Until now had dark roasted malt naturally been a part of the main impression of these beers, swann

For beer tasting "The Black Beer" as Kjeld Vang Lauritszen held Saturday was continuously served swann security food during tasting. There were three talented gentlemen who made a little game menu, which perfectly suited the dark beer. First we were served small toasted rye bread with red deer salami with red onion and red deer fillet with baked egg. Then there was bread baked on residues from beer production. Later we were served tartlets with red deer and pheasant one in lovely horseradish swann security sauce, and finally mashed potatoes with root vegetables and meat that had simmered in beer. For most allergy-end, there was a small cheese board. It was fully deserved the three chefs were given a massive ovation afterwards.
The last six beers were all in the category Imperial Stout. First we tasted the new "stooge" of the Syndicate. It is the first time I taste beers from this brewery. It is a contract brewery with no less than nine partners. The winner of the hand brew 2010, Jonas Jacobsen who heads the brewery. There are no hard-boiled, American gangster environment over the labels. Hand Long Eren has his back with a knife in his hand. There is also used six different American hops in this beer other than wheat, oats, sugar, coffee and spices. It unfortunately a little messy impression. swann security Tasting notes protrudes slightly in different directions without really coming together. We toasted malt, spice, pine notes from the hops and ending with a sharp bitterness of 72 IBU. Alcohol percentage swann security 9.3%
Then came the winner of the "New swann security Year Beer 2007 -" Imperial Stout "from Midtfyns Brewery. There are also many impressions, but they work better together and form a complex beer. I sense prune, chocolate and vanilla and balanced fine of hops. Maybe they were roasted malt notes, tired me a little, because it was not quite as high a grade as in 2007.
This also applies to the next beer - "Black Magic Woman" from Hornbeer. A beer in many ways reminiscent of their wins - "Carribean Rumstout". Here's just not rum, but otherwise we are on the same edges, which we can see from the name, which would certainly have come from the old Santana hit "Black Magic Woman". (Written by Peter Green / Fleetwood Mac). This is a meeting of smoke and leather. It's a good, rich and powerful beer. The smoke seems a bit sharp and tart, but this could be my neighbor - even brews - tell that it is very difficult to avoid.
Beer Here was represented with two beers. The other was "Kremlin Crude" at 10.0%. We see an almost swann security communist label where a worker goes a frothy glass of beer in the air while a derrick spewing crude oil - or is it stout? "R" are mirrored, for such a letter is printed in Russian. Skovdal Christian swann security Andersen draws even all its labels and there is always a twinkle in his eye.
Also here is the alcohol percentage 10.0%, but it does not much noticed. It is a letdrikkelig beer that does not seem too heavy. Again, you are met by smoke, but there is not the same acidity here. The spices and hops also their contribution to the taste. An excellent stout, however, lack the complexity needed to completely catch me. Brewed on the Proef in Belgium
Then came another brewery, I have not previously familiar swann security with - Devil's Brew. They have a stoutserie named Nekron where "Pride of Nekron" is their 10.5% Imperial Stout. "Nekron" is the name of their stout and also the name of a super villain in the comic Green Lantern. The label is simple - black with a white devils drawing on. Devil's Brew is like Beer Here a contract brewer who get their beer brewed on Indslev. In fact, half of flavor lation beer from contract / phantom breweries.
Until now had dark roasted malt naturally been a part of the main impression of these beers, swann security but with "Pride swann security of Nekron" was not so. True, you could sense malt, but not to the same degree dominant. Here mixed dried fruit itself - especially figs, but also prune and raisin. It was rounded off with a distinct bitterness (70 IBU). Well balanced. One sensed not the high alcohol content. A pleasant variation - maybe not so traditional Imperial Stout-like but clearly swann security a welcome feature in a toasted world. Had we had a vote, it was probably swann security been my choice.
We ended with a quite new beer - brewed for a week or so ago in January 2013. An extremely strong case of 16.0% - Honey Badger "from Stronzo. There were 5 cl each. To this beer is used for 1000 liters of 400 kg honey. That sounds a lot and Kjeld Lauritsen also had difficulty believing what he said, but it should be good enough. The alcohol is not as dominant as you might fear. It is not absent swann security in the taste and feel of warmth, but there are many other impressions, which also comes to mind. Honnin
