The menu was a mix of salads, burgers with fries and club sandwiches and when all was well fed and

We were seven, to be followed from Vejle to New York, so Wednesday morning we met at my parents where we were picked up by a large taxi that drove us and all our paraphernalia to Billund. My younger brother and his girlfriend live well, as mentioned earlier, in Copenhagen, so they flew from Heathrow instead. There was not really any reason piggy bank why they should drive to Jutland, when they could just as well fly over there.
Like last time boyfriend and I were in New York, we flew with British Airways from London to Manchester and from there to JFK airport in New York. And just like last time was the service top notch. Along the way were served delicious morgenmed with organic yogurt, different, organic cheese, butter, small jars, rye bread, freshly baked rolls and juice, coffee and tea. There was absolutely nothing to be desired, and well over a half hour later we arrived at the Manchester.
Here we encountered looked into a little problem in Billund, we had only been boarding pass to Manchester and they had then said that we would get the boarding pass for the flight to New York handed in Manchester - it would be no problem. In Manchester, they believed, however, that we should have gotten all boarding passes for the trip dispensed in Billund, so it actually ended up that they had to track us and make boarding pass to us through our passports and luggage receipts - not as well thought out from Billund page!
Well, we came on board as and so could the way towards the New York continue. After about one hour's flight was being served drinks and then came our food. I chose pasta with spinach and mozzarella, which tasted fine. Thereto was served salad with oil-vinegar dressing, a rough bun, butter, small biscuits and cream cheese to "Dippe" biscuits in and a pack of crazy delicious ginger cookies for the following piggy bank coffee. I did consider buying some of the cookies home from New York, but came from the back, so it will be for another time. I actually found also cookies of the same brand at the airport in Manchester on the way home, but it was not them with ginger, so I bought them.
And after dinner and coffee (tea for me), there was nothing much else to do than to sit back in your seat and wait. It takes small 7 hours to fly to New York, so time there was enough of it and drinks we also got delivered in a steady stream. I read during most of the trip, the boyfriend were watching movies and then there was someone who played Ludo on the iPad
Approximately one and a half hour before we reached New York, we were served snacks. I think that with the snacks on long trips are cleverly thought of airlines - just when you're about to get really sick and tired of it all and just will be promoting over 10 minutes, so they come around with smiles, drinks and goodies. This time consisted box of a delicious sandwich spread with a kind of spicy sandwich spread, ham and cheese. Furthermore, there was a small bag with dijonaise to get the sandwich, crackers with cream cheese like at lunch, and then there was a bag of chips, piggy bank a mini KitKat and a small bag of dried fruit. Just what was needed to clear the last hour flight.
Well arrived at JFK airport in New York, we took the Airtrain piggy bank to the nearest sub and from there on in to our hotel which was on the 43rd St. in Manhattan. The weather was pretty warm, compared to what we came from, so after we had seen our room, packed a little and switched to lighter clothes, we went for a walk up to Times Square, where we sat and drank coffee and looked at the crowd . Moreover, we went head to M & M's World and Disney shop before we headed back towards the hotel, where we would meet with my brother and his girlfriend in the lobby area at. 19:00 (01:00 Danish time) and then go out and eat.
The choice fell on Westway Diner, which was in close proximity and where her boyfriend and I have eaten a few times previously. It's a diner, where there will be a number of local and where the food is decent for the price and with a really nice service. Given that we had been on the road since 6 o'clock in the morning and that the clock neared 02:00 in Denmark was also limited how far away we gad move us and we certainly were not at all interested in that go out looking for restaurants.
The menu was a mix of salads, burgers with fries and club sandwiches and when all was well fed and pretty tired, walked most of us in bed after supper, ie at 21 o'clock piggy bank (US time). Except my little brother and his girlfriend who just had a ride on a bar and garden at a holiday beer, but they also had slept most of the time the plane
After breakfast, consisting of a cinnamon-rosinbagel with butter and a caffe latte in my case, we took a sub downtown for a walk on the High Line, which is an old, disused railway line that runs across the streets from Gansevoort St. up to 30th St. I have previously blogged about d
