Therefore, this type of camera is very easy to integrate into our automation solutions (box, or software like Homeseer). My recent visit home automation part on the box eedomus also pushed me to migrate my video surveillance system to IP to easily centralize everything on this box.
The system is now composed of six cameras, two cameras Tenvis, presented here for the children's room. You will notice that I have no motorized camera: it is not a problem of prices, Foscam cameras are very affordable, but personally I find this function a little gadget. It's nice to connect to the camera remotely and can rotate to see what is happening around. But when the camera is turned in one direction, it does not see what happens next. Just as the camera is facing the wrong way when someone passes, and the camera is then useless. I tried, and finally I used this feature quite a few. I prefer to use fixed cameras, but with a very wide field of vision at once to cover the area I wish to monitor.
All the cameras are compatible with eedomus box, which is thus the home automation server manager. When we activate the alarm, so managed by the box, the cameras come in recording mode.
